Commercial Bull Production, in volume, is our main business. We have years of proven customer satisfaction. Our bulls are known for their good dispositions, sound feet and legs, easy calving, and fast growing calves. We produce both purebred and hybrid seed stock.
“Eye Appeal”- as long as buyers want to see what they are buying, eye appeal is very important. We have proven that performance and carcass cattle can look good too. Just because we are from the Ozarks does not mean we can’t produce some of the best Charolais in America. Showing cattle on a local and national level, and winning, is a way to verify that we have better cattle than most.
Embryo transfer and artificial insemination play a major role in our day to day production. Our recipient herd is comprised of Angus combined with our elite Charolais genetics. We used mostly proven sons of Traveler 6807 and New Design 036 for the Angus input.
Show steers, our newest endeavor was started a couple of years ago. We utilized our recipient herd along with Hoo Doo Charolais cattle for this undertaking. We think you will like what you see!!
Home“Hello we are Larry and Peggy Aschermann” we are located in Southwest Missouri near Carthage and east of Joplin. Our roots have always been in the cattle industry. We have bred and raised purebred Charolais cattle since 1993. Starting in 2000, we added Angus to part of the herd to create our composite CH+ cattle.
“ Our goals” are simple, to produce Charolais based seed stock, that are easy calving, fast growing, highly maternal and produce a premium grade carcass. Because top quality and yield grade is important in every seed stock program, we have used almost exclusively pedigrees with proven carcass results.
